If you kept up with any of our social channels or these blogs over the last few months, you’ll have no doubt have seen a tonne about the summer wedding season. As an event caterer with a speciality in roast dining, it tracks that our services would be in high demand for weddings. During the summer most of our events at Hog Roast Bromley are weddings or at the very least wedding adjacent; stag and hen dos, engagements, anniversaries — you get the idea. So of course then, most of our posts would be about this.
Now that we have come into autumn things change a little – but not too much. The weddings themselves start to make way for more regular corporate events, and then the slide into Christmas comes with many festive events with work places and families. But even during the autumn the Hog Roast Bromley team are still quite wedding focused – we just cannot get away from one of favourite events. There are of course the autumn and winter weddings that come at a slightly different speed and style to the summer wedding. Away go the barbecues and al fresco dining menus and in come the comforting roasts and the warmth of a good fire pit and grill. The magic of a winter wedding is also entirely different, especially if you get lucky enough to have a white wedding with snowfall. Even at Hog Roast Bromley we have only seen it on a handful of occasions over the years, but when we do it is some of the most special days we can have in this job.
But it is not just the winter weddings that keep us wedding focused. As it is such a massive part of our business, we are always looking ahead to the next big summer wedding season, and we’re not alone on that front as venues and agencies also start their planning early. The autumn sees a big rise in wedding fairs as the entire wedding industry builds for the next season and gets their bookings in early. So over the next while, no doubt you’ll hear plenty more about weddings, wedding fairs, and great dining at Hog Roast Bromley still!
