A Hog Roast Bexley Client Celebrated Their 70th Birthday On A Bank Holiday Weekend

Having your birthday fall on a weekend is one thing, but being given an entire bank holiday to celebrate is a whole different level of luck, am I right? Well, for one of our most recent clients, this was actually the case! In the run-up to last months scorching bank holiday weekend, the Hog Roast Bexley customer service team received a call from one lucky duck who was looking to celebrate their 70th birthday with one of our delicious menus at their home in the local area.

Hog Roast Bexley Keen to make this 70th birthday bash extra special, Hog Roast Bexley’s expert catering manager Matt spent time with the client to decide which menu would fit the event best, and it wasn’t long before our tasty southern slow roast menu won over them over. With a tantalising selection of succulent slow roasted meats, real crockery and a helpful band of catering staff to cook, serve and clean up the aftermath, this package is one we always recommend for smaller sized events like the one our client was planning to host.

It wasn’t long before Matt and the rest of the Hog Roast Bexley catering crew found themselves setting up their gazebo in the client’s back garden in preparation for the 30 guests that were set to attend the birthday celebrations in the early afternoon. Working against the clock, the team banded together to rustle up a buffet of Texan 24 hour beef brisket, cajun spiced whole roast chickens and fall off the bone Louisiana sticky pork ribs; before getting started on the moreish side dishes of Memphis style crunchy coleslaw, Greek salad, green leaf salad and spiced potato wedges. Condiments lined up and wooden crockery prepared, all that was left to do was wait for the guests to arrive.

We’re pleased to share that the food went down a storm with guests and best of all, the client was grateful to be able to sit back and enjoy their special day without having to concern themselves with oven timers, serving or cleaning up after the event as the Hog Roast Bexley team had all that covered.
