After being given the keys to their new home, Molly and Daniel were desperate to celebrate the success of their life-long dream of getting on the property ladder, by inviting their friends and family round for a much-needed catch-up. But having spent weeks packing and unpacking, painting, and decorating the place until it fit their aesthetic to a tee, the couple didn’t feel up to cooking and serving a meal to the 36 people who had been invited to the intimate party.
So, instead of getting stressed over cooking times and dietary requirements, the couple made the decision to involve Hog Roast North London in the celebration. On this occasion, Hog Roast North London was asked to cook and serve our private party menu 3, which provides our clients with a relaxed, informal experience with plenty of salads and veg to accompany the traditional slow roasted hog from which our name was inspired. With our catering team taking care of everything from the succulent feast, to the cutlery and condiments, Molly and Daniel were happy to be able to put their feet up ahead of the big day.
The morning of the event saw our crew travel to the couple’s cul de sac home, which boasted a spacious back garden that offered enough room for our catering gazebo, cooking equipment and serving tables. Wasting no time, Hog Roast North London quickly set up the station and got to work by slowly roasting the smaller-sized pig which had been scored and rubbed with salt to create a layer of crispy crackling.
After a quick tour of Molly and Daniel’s new home, the guests eagerly made their way into the garden where they pulled up a chair and waited for the metaphorical dinner bell to chime. They didn’t have to wait long, and soon everyone was excitedly piling large helpings of juicy meats and crunchy veg onto their plates!
