Easter is only a matter of weeks away now, but some of us are understandably getting a hankering for that Easter roast flavour already! There’s no such thing as too early when it comes to enjoying great food though, so we at Hog Roast Edmonton were more than happy to help out one of our local business partners, Joanna and her PR firm satisfy her cravings at the office this past week!
Joanna has been a long-time friend of Hog Roast Edmonton, often employing our services to deliver staff lunches to the company office, or to aid in PR events for her various clients – there isn’t many ways better to improve public relations than with a fresh hog roast roll on hand, after all! When we received her call just a week or so again asking for a lunch service to the office we assumed the standard fare (rolls, roast fillings, salads, and potatoes), but Joanna wanted that extra touch of Easter even if, as it was put in her words, “it might seem to early to crack out the Easter dining”. No, Joanna. It’s never too early with Hog Roast Edmonton!
What’s more Easter-y than a roast lamb made fresh on site with plenty of excellent side servings? A Hog Roast Edmonton team came to Joanna’s office early in the day and set up shop in an unused space so that we could begin cooking without disrupting the office. We spit roast our lambs, similar to the hog roast, for added flavour and juiciness, and our lamb also comes with Yorkshire puddings, garlic and rosemary for that fresh spring aroma, and mint sauce too as a perfect condiment pairing to any lamb. Our team also prepped a fresh buffalo and mozzarella salad and our vibrant homemade coleslaw for some light healthy goodness, and of course a couple dozen golden roast new potatoes to suit the whole office staff. A veggie option of grilled halloumi and veg skewers was also available.
Come lunchtime all of our foods were fresh and ready to go, so the office staff set up a dining space in one of their meeting rooms so that the Hog Roast Edmonton team could conduct a more formal service.
A cracking day all round, and a great Easter surprise for Joanna’s team!
