Lisa moved into her first home at the start of 2024 and has spent the past few months redecorating and settling in. Now that she is happily at home in her new place, she wanted to host a party to thank her friends and family for their help with the moving process and show off her hard work. The event is taking place this March, with 30 friends and family members invited to visit Lisa’s home and enjoy a nice evening together. Additionally, Lisa has hired Hog Roast Woodberry Down to cater for the occasion with one of our delicious buffet menus! After looking through the variety of buffets that we can provide, it was decided that a classic hog roast would be perfect for this party.
In preparation for the event, the Hog Roast Woodberry Down team will arrive at the private home in the afternoon to prepare for the 7:00pm serving time. We will begin by slow-roasting the hog, which will need around five hours to cook to perfection. Once ready, the succulent pork will be carved by our chef and served in fresh bread rolls, alongside sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. For the side dishes, we will be serving homemade chips, gourmet coleslaw, and a selection of salad dishes, creating a varied and tasty evening meal. Our catering is sure to be a great addition to this party and will be the perfect way for Lisa to introduce her friends and family to her new home.
