As you’d expect the hog roasting wheels have been in motion, at Spitting Pig, like many businesses, we’ve been benefiting from the London Olympics 2012. There has been a surge of interest in hog roasting and other catering services as people brace themselves for the Olympic games. We had to brace ourselves earlier in the year as we knew it was coming and began our Olympics special hog roast offers. It turns out we were right to get ready for the event early and the bookings quickly piled up, and so did the number of requests for hog roast machines.

With so many tourists descending on London, whether from the British Isles or abroad, it’s been a hectic time for many businesses as preparations are made to cash in on the festivities.
Which is why this month we’ve probably spent more on petrol than we have the gas to power our machines, because we’ve been driving from location to location non-stop, or at least it feels that way. Every day the Spitting Pig vans have been travelling to customers, at their home or business establishments, and dropping off hog roast machines.
