For Christmas 2022, Martin and his family stayed with his parents for Christmas Eve until Boxing Day, which was a wonderful way to celebrate the festive period surrounded by loved ones. For 2023, he has invited his parents to stay with them at his family home to return the favour and to allow his parents to relax this year. To make the occasion extra special, Martin is wanting to hire a caterer to provide a delicious meal on Christmas Eve to mark the start of the celebrations and to get into the Christmas spirit. After looking online for caterers and menus, he came across Hog Roast West Horndon and thought that our classic menu would be ideal for the occasion. It is never too early to book in for Christmas, so we secured Martin’s booking and began planning for the event.
Our classic hog roast menu can be served formally or buffet-style, depending on the formality of your event. In this case, we will be serving the meal buffet style, followed by a tasty dessert course. Our classic hog roast is ideal for Christmas Eve as it is not too similar to the turkey dinner that will be enjoyed the next day, but is still packed full of delicious dishes, including roasted potatoes, seasonal vegetables, sage and onion stuffing, and homemade gravy. The main meal will be followed by a selection of festive desserts, as well as a drinks service of hot mulled wine.
