Hog Roast Stanmore are always there to cater events, whether it be during the gorgeous summer months, catering large garden parties, or in the cool winter when we bring the warmth to people’s parties and bellies! My personal favourite is a wedding because of the cheerful and positive atmosphere. Early this year, Larry and Sarah gave us a call to hire our full service for their mid-January wedding and we were delighted to say we could fill their special day with gorgeous food.
With the snow falling and coating the couple’s large marquee, we couldn’t have been at a more beautiful scene. The event was held in a large field layered with a white sheet of snow. We began setting up early as there was 200 guests to feed. Hog Roast Stanmore love a challenge when it comes to large events so we brought our chef, waiting team and meat carver.
For this particular event, Larry and Sarah requested our special wedding menu, this consisted of a large hog, lamb, turkey and soft bread rolls. All accompanied by sauces, salads and our famous herb potatoes.
As the guests flooded in after the church service, we began serving. The hundreds of happy faces queued and piled their plates with our gorgeous meat, crackling and potatoes. We had plenty of compliments about the tenderness of our hog roast and how beautifully cooked our potatoes were. The majority of the guests came up for seconds and asked about catering for their own events. It was a triumph!
At the end of the night, Sarah and Larry thanked us for the delicious food, happy and outgoing service and told us they would love to hire us for their first wedding anniversary party. We finished the event by cleaning up all our equipment, food and plates which we offer at every event to help our customers enjoy themselves. Another brilliant event for Hog Roast Stanmore!
