February is starting to feel like spring, the snow has finally left us and the sun has actually been shining! We have been out and about hog roast Putney catering the past few weeks and as the weather gets better the orders start to come in. we were north last weekend catering for a wedding this event had been pre booked for the past year and the bride and groom have been in regular contact with us since they first booked and we feel now we know them really well, the wedding was amazing and the bride and groom looked wonderful there were lots of children at the wedding and they were all fascinated at the pig it kept them amused for the day! We prepared a three course hog roast Putney wedding lunch which consisted of chicken or vegetable soup followed by pork, lamb or chicken with seasonal vegetables served with apple sauce and gravy, and fresh fruit cocktail for dessert the guests really enjoyed the food.
We are catering for a really important party next week it is the opening of a superstore and we are honoured to have been asked to be involved in such an important event we have been asked to cater for about one thousand people with a hog roast hire Putney pig but to be honest you never really know what you are up against at one of these events as normally more people come than first anticipated.
We have been asked to do an open buffet, and are cooking chickens and lamb to accompany the meat we are making stuffing and gravy, the gravy is made using the natural juices of the meat and freshly made at the event along with everything else we cook. We have also been asked to supply a pig as the event hosts know for sure if you want to get noticed then a pig will do the job!
