Hog Roast Edgware has a wide variety of menus on offer to suit any kind of special occasion that you might be planning – from your wedding reception meal to a milestone birthday party or from a small backyard barbecue to a huge corporate function with hundreds of guests. While our hog roasts are amazing in more than one way, as they taste, smell and look spectacular, we also know that we need to offer our customers plenty of variety and choice, to ensure that everyone invited gets to enjoy our food.
From spit-roast chickens, turkeys, beef or lamb or something more exotic to a barbecue of Hog Roast Edgware chef’s gourmet sausages and burgers that are 100% beef, we have lots of alternative meaty mains to suit all kinds of personal tastes, but we also make sure to provide options to cater for special diets, like vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free. As well as an array of possibilities of main dishes, we also have various additional options, including starters, sides, desserts and handmade canapés, and we can help you to devise your own menu from scratch if you need.
A great new addition to our menu this year is our loaded fries, which you can order as a standalone menu or as a supplemental dish. With fresh French fries topped either with slow-cooked pulled pork or barbecue beef brisket, as well as a spicy or zesty slaw, melted cheese and jalapenos, they’re already a big hit with our customers and their guests, and when our long-term customer Gillian had us cater for her private party over the weekend, our loaded fries were the main event.
On Saturday, our Hog Roast Edgware chef and catering assistant cooked up a storm at Gillian’s choice of venue, a local community centre. She had asked us if we could provide the toppings separately, because she knew some of the guests would want plain fries, while others would want only some toppings and some would want the whole nine yards. Nevertheless, by the end of service, everything had been stripped clean and all of Gillian’s guests were more than satisfied.
