Last night was our 3rd year catering for Grand Central Studios roof top Halloween event just off Oxford Circus London. This years event was themed around Jack the Ripper/Victorian era. We arrived early on site yesterday in the pouring rain and set up our roasting equipment on the roof top, ready to serve our traditional hog roast but with the addition of handmade sausages and 100% hand made burgers later that evening. Our menu was finished with traditional chips in newspaper cones. Oh do I remember the days of chips in proper newspaper. We spent the afternoon prepping our menu while the apple fed pig was roasting. The roof top looked very dramatic as the staff has been busy working on the props. As darkness fell the party kicked off with live music from @donnychristian6 the guests were served goblets filled with mulled wine on arrival. We received fantastic feedback on our crispy crackling! Another devilishly good night for Spitting Pig!
