Getting married in the autumn can be just as beautiful as a summer or spring wedding, with the changing seasons making for a great backdrop. Orange leaves, early sunsets, and cosy evenings can be wonderful for wedding receptions, depending on how you want your event to go. At Hog Roast Southall, we have warming menus that are ideal for all kinds of events, including autumn wedding receptions!
For Lauren’s wedding, she had planned to get married in the autumn, allowing herself to enjoy a wonderful autumn backdrop to her big day. With autumn in full swing, her venue had a view of a beautiful orange forest, with crisp leaves coating the floor. She planned to enjoy a formal meal at her wedding and the menu needed to be ideal for 45 guests to enjoy, as well as the bride and groom. While looking for a caterer, Lauren discovered Hog Roast Southall and reached out to find out more about our formal dining package. After hearing about our three incredible courses, it was clear that this menu was ideal for the occasion!
On the day of the wedding, the Hog Roast Southall team began the catering by serving a variety of canapés as the guests arrived at the venue. These included mini pizzas, an Indian selection, mini fish and chips, and fresh salmon. Following this course, the guests enjoyed a hearty main course with something for everyone to enjoy. Our menu included a slow-roasted hog, roasted chicken, and halloumi and vegetable skewers, with each dish accompanied by roasted potatoes, seasonal vegetables, and sage and onion stuffing. While the couple provided a wedding cake, Hog Roast Southall provided profiteroles and chocolate torte for the guests to enjoy. This created a well-rounded dessert course with plenty for everyone to enjoy.
At Hog Roast Southall, we have a menu that is ideal for any kind of wedding, with each catering package able to be customised to suit your needs. To get booked in, simply let us know your party size, date, and location and we can do the rest.
