At a birthday party that we catered over the weekend, our Hog Roast Alfriston experts impressed with one of our most popular options – our famously moreish pigs in buns – but we were also asked to provide a vegetarian main and sides that both carnivores and veggies could eat, and the feast that we created was loved by all the guests and not just the majority.
After slow-cooking a fat hog for hours on end on Saturday, the meat rested while we finished off preparing tasty halloumi and vegetable skewers, scrumptious spicy sweet potato fries and our delicious homemade coleslaw, and then we carved away to fill soft bread rolls and wraps with hot, tender meat, apple sauce, stuffing and salty crackling, and finally, we had a great treat ready for all the guests to devour.
