Andy hosts a monthly book club at his local community centre and has around 20 people attending the meetings on average. The club is a great way to meet new people and is something that everyone looks forward to each month! With Christmas approaching, Andy wanted to do something special for their final meeting of 2023, so he has hired Hog Roast Horns Green to provide catering while they discuss their favourite cosy Christmas reads. For the menu, it was decided that a classic hog roast would be ideal, alongside a meat-free and gluten-free option to ensure that there is something for every guest to enjoy.
On the day of the event, the Hog Roast Horns Green team will arrive at the community centre in the morning to prepare for the 2:00pm serving time. We will begin by preparing the main dishes, which will include a delicious slow-roasted hog and BBQ-pulled jackfruit. Both dishes will be cooked on-site for maximum freshness and flavour before being served in fresh bread rolls, or a gluten-free alternative. Additionally, we will be serving sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, crispy crackling, homemade chips, and a selection of seasonal salad dishes. Overall, this will create a varied and warming buffet lunch for the guests to enjoy, with more than enough to go around. Our catering is sure to be an unexpected treat and will be the perfect way to celebrate Christmas and wish each other a happy New Year.
