Not every event that Hog Roast Kensington caters requires a Catering Manager or equipment to remain on site during the event. The London team’s latest event was a special party where the team prepared all the food and delivered it to the client, and then left the venue. In these instances discretion is key and the team was very happy with the service they provided.
Rather than the traditional catering packages that come with a Chef, catering equipment, serving table and cutlery and crockery as standard the client for this particular event, a lovely lady called Jo, had something different in mind. All of the dishes for the event were still cooked from scratch freshly on the day at the Hog Roast Kensington kitchens by experienced Catering Manager Adam, but was then safely transferred to the client’s venue by 2pm, as that was the serving time.
The menu had to feed 17 very happy but very hungry guests and had a whole array of tasty treats on offer. Everything for the buffet arrived at the Jo’s venue ready to be enjoyed by the guests straight away.
There was a delicious pulled pork that had been cooked and pulled by Catering Manager Adam, which was sent to Jo’s place in a large standard roasting tray, which was left with the client. There was also tangy apple sauce, homemade stuffing, mixed salad, crunchy coleslaw and a selection of soft rolls and wraps; all of which was ready to be eaten by the guests at the time of arrival.
Hog Roast Kensington are very flexible and work to the clients requirements, every catering package can be altered and rearranged to suit the client’s needs and budget. For this event client Jo wanted a more private affair, but still wanted to be able to have the buffet for her guests to be catered for by a third party and the team were only too pleased to work with her to put together a plan and buffet that was exactly what she wanted. This event really showcased the flexibility of the Hog Roast team catering.
