Fairytale Woodland Wedding – Hog Roast Wembley

On Wednesday afternoon, after 9 years of dating, Jennifer and Thomas celebrated their love for each other by getting hitched in a fairytale-worthy woodland wedding – and Hog Roast Wembley was there to serve a feast fit for royalty!

Hog Roast WembleyMonths before the event was set to take place, the happy couple had called our team to talk about their goals for the day, and like many of our clients, they were both shocked and excited to hear that our menus expand far beyond that of a traditional hog roast. Between our huge selection of free-range meats, their vegetarian and vegan alternatives and freshly-prepared side dishes which can be combined to create an entirely bespoke menu, Hog Roast Wembley has something to offer everyone, meaning none of your guests will be stopping off at their local chippy on the way home!

For Jennifer and Thomas, Hog Roast Wembley was everything they had been looking for, and almost immediately, they placed a booking for our wedding menu 2 which offers a comprehensive main course with canapes and a drinks service to start, plus a wedding cake service to round off the event.

While the pair prepared for their wedding last week, the catering crew followed the SatNav along a winding road until they reached a clearing. Stood in the centre was a stunning log cabin with glass walls along one side which looked out onto an open lake. After taking a moment to marvel at the breath-taking views, the team hurried inside where they began cooking up a storm.

Hours later, the main course of slow roasted pig was surrounded by warm new potatoes in herb butter, carrot and orange salad with sesame dressing, crunchy coleslaw and couscous. As the guests entered the lodge, taking shelter from the falling snowflakes, they were greeted with a glass of bubbly and stunning platters that included mini quiche, chicken satay and a selection of mini Indian snacks.

The atmosphere was electric as the wedding party eagerly dug into the food on offer, and after the speeches had been made to honour the newlyweds, Hog Roast Wembley rounded off their duties by slicing, dressing and serving the cake before clearing away the day’s mess.
