With the cold weather taking effect across the country and rain seeming to arrive every day, January is often a month that feels everlasting and lonely. To combat this, a local community centre is hosting an event for locals to enjoy, which will include a delicious meal from Hog Roast Plaistow, followed by an evening of chatter and plenty of hot tea and coffee. For the menu, our team has been hired to provide a classic hog roast for the guests, as well as a meat-free and child-friendly option. This will ensure that there is something for everyone to enjoy and more than enough to go around.
When the day of the event arrived, the Hog Roast Plaistow team set up at the venue with plenty of time to prepare for the 6:00pm mealtime. We began with the main dishes, which included a delicious slow-roasted hog, succulent pork sausages, and meat-free sausages. All of the main dishes were served in fresh bread rolls, and the hog was accompanied by sage and onion stuffing, homemade applesauce, and crispy crackling. As well as the mains, we also served a variety of salad dishes and homemade chips. This was an ideal menu for the occasion as it made sure that the guests were full of warm food, which is a great way to improve your mood and stay healthy.
